How to delete unseen users in Leopard

I once installed PostgreSQL on my pet pet MBP. Though it is a nice DB but it's too heavy weight for my use (I chose SQLite in the end). Removing the package from my computer was ok, but it left the postgres user in my system which I cannot see in /etc/passwds.

My friend told me the once mighty Netinfo might help, but alas it was removed from Leopard. And also the Directory Utility cannot connect to the local directory, leaving me wandering on the net for quite a while till I came by this. Following the instruction in mentioned:

$ sudo dscl localhost

>cd Local/Default/Users/

>ls

and then 'delete postgres', I removed the hidden user from my computer. Now I can sleep at night.
